“Markets will evolve during the journey – be prepared!”- Paul Kraus
USA Weekly – Starting a business is a big achievement for many entrepreneurs, but maintaining one is the larger challenge. There are many standard challenges that face every business whether they are large or small. It is not easy running a company, especially in a fast-paced, ever-changing business world. Technology advances, new hiring strategies, and now, political changes coming with the new administration, all add to the existing business challenges that entrepreneurs, business owners, and executives have to deal with.
Maximizing profits, minimizing expenses and finding talented staff to keep things moving seem to be top challenges for both SMBs and large corporations. We have been interviewing companies from around the world to discover what challenges they are facing in their businesses. We also asked each company to share business advice they would give to a younger version of themselves.
What does your company do?
We analyze the flight data flowing across your hybrid networks, cloud infrastructure providers, hosted applications and mobile workforce – with speed and precision. Always watching, Eastwind gathers and analyzes network data and enriches it with additional sources of threat and corporate intelligence. The result is our customers’ ability to investigate threats with more context than ever before as well as our “automated hunters” to sift through months or even years of data, to identify malicious activity that evades other security solutions – regardless of attack surface. Eastwind offers the only breach analytics cloud that, that centralizing network intelligence and provides complete visibility as organizations undergo their digital transformation.
What is your role? What do you enjoy most about your role?
President/CEO/Founder. The numerous aspects that I enjoy about this role are:
1) Team – my team of highly skilled and passionate professionals have worked together at numerous companies. We work with who we like to work with. Not enough people can say that.
2)Customers – we have some of the most demanding customers and I take great pride in the service we provide and the trust they have placed in us to assist them to combat the ever-changing cyber security landscape.
3)Solution – the solution we have built breaks down the walls that “traditional” network security companies have placed. We attempt to keep the product/solution that built as lean as possible while ensuring it is the most effective at assisting security analysts in the daily job while providing higher-level insights that can shape an organization’s security posture.
