What you may have missed at BlackHat 2017.
Cybersecurity expert Ron Gula weighs in on some of the highlights from this year’s BlackHat and Eastwind caught his eye.
“Eastwind Networks merged cloud forensics with network forensics. This is important because we all see the trend where our big apps are fleeing the network and moving to the cloud. The cloud does not have a span port, but fortunately, cloud vendors have decent APIs. Eastwind took their same approach to collecting meta-data from your packets and sessions and did the same thing with O365, G-Suite, Dropbox and a few others. This lets you do forensics everywhere your data is” – Ron Gula
